I’m finding it quite a challenge to keep this  page up todate.

****************************************************************************

Just a note to say we are visiting to give quotes NOW (mid - Nov)  for work we could do in Jan or Feb.

There is absolutely no chance of us fitting anything else in this year - except for the most minor or emergency jobs.

 ****************************************************************************

Every year, people phone up in December to ask if we can fit a new bathroom for them before Xmas.  It is as if Xmas has sneaked up on them, they didn’t realise it is only 3 weeks away or less.

In my diary the date is 25th of December every year.  It also involves at about 2 weeks holiday for many people.

Any major work to be done before Xmas, generally needs to be booked in our diary (with deposit paid) by the first week in November.  By major work I mean something that is likely to take a week or longer and might cost you £6,000 or more.

This year is no exception.  We are currently booking in work for January & February 2008.

We can still fit in smaller jobs including boiler changes at shorter notice.  Please note, however,  this year Xmas is on a Tuesday, we will not be working Christmas eve or over the weekend before it.

As September draws to a close and October is on the door step our diary is packed with boiler service appointments.

The months before Xmas are always the busiest of the year.

We have a wide range of work going on in September which includes not just installing bathrooms and gas central heating, as usual, but creating a pond and decorating a hallway.

Another refurb is to begin, a smaller and very different job to the one I describe below.

We also have a few minor bathroom jobs to undertake in the next week or two.

This week Mr T.P. has been impressing us with his own carpentry skills! As well as his creative talent in designing and building some sort of Veranda.

Where was the ‘real’ carpenter, I don’t know, but that could have been the day he was constructing a lovely book-case for my dining room.  It looks stunning!

We’ve recently FINISHED a house renovation in Cliftonville, Margate.

It ran exactly to agreed schedule - 8 weeks from start to finish.

The photo’s here are all prior to us completing the work!  I hope to bring you photos of the finished project, when I’ve time to down load to pictures.

Not the right look for a man’s ensuite

It is a beautiful Victorian 4 bedroom house, just off Northdown Road.

I think we can improove on this!

They have had a new Tara Plumbing bathroom and Tara Plumbing kitchen - I mean literally new rooms.

Man S at work

We have been blocking off existing doorways; creating new rooms; taking down a chimney; putting in new windows; new lighting in some rooms: so, you see, not just replacing the old bath for a new one and painting over those pink tiles.

The new ‘Victorian’ bathroom includes a unique shower cubicle which is hidden in the wall (and large enough to entertain a special guest or two!).

Here is the building site:

Bit of work still to do!
