Mrs Tara Plumbing

I was struck by a sudden illness. Not for the first time it was quiet in the Tara Plumbing household, as I completely lost my voice and it was painful to swallow. I couldn’t phone the GP, so I went there in person and handed a note to the receptionist, “Can I see Dr….”

Not the young one with all the latest research who will tell me there is no treatment for a virus, I saw the one who is guaranteed to write prescriptions for hard drugs! Sure enough, he shone the torch down my throat and issued the anticipated prescription.

Why was he running late? Every time I see him he is printing off a prescription for me as I walk in the door, no chance for me to get comfy. 24 hours later I was miraculously cured (with antibiotics)!

Then my ego was massaged.

He may be a self confessed male chauvinist but obviously a man with intelligence and good taste!
